Description
St. Charles Towne Center invites the local community to our FREE Mall-o-Ween/Boo-fest event! This year’s event includes trick or treating, entertainment from Mad Science, free family-friendly (animated) Halloween movies, games with prizes & make & take fall & Halloween related crafts. Be sure to visit the tables of local businesses to find out more about what products & services they offer our community! Its four full hours of family fun! The first 200 parents or guardians to enter with their child/children will receive a free St. Charles Towne Center or Simon tote bag.

- 5:30 PM – 6:15 PM Mad Science’s “Spook-tacular” Halloween Show
Join Mad Science in Macy's Home Store court! Mad Science brings kids the fun, the amazement and the wonder of all things science. This show is designed for Halloween! Learn the science behind magic, explore air pressure, and see spook-tacular indoor fireworks. Discover the secret behind sublimation with their bubbling potions. - 7:00PM – 7:45 PM Mad Science’s “Spook-tacular” Halloween Show (repeat of 5:30 PM show)
Missed the 5:30 show? Want to see it again? The Halloween show repeats at 7:00 pm so families whose parents have a long commute or those who want to participate in other mall events during the first show can still catch the entertainment! Event takes place at Macy's Home Store Court. - 6:15 PM – 7:00 PM FREE MOVIE & POPCORN: “DEAR DRACULA”
“Dear Dracula” will be playing at Kohl's court. This animated movie is based on the graphic novel of the same name. Runtime; 42 minutes. SYNOPSIS: Sam is a monster movie buff who lives with his grandmother. Unwilling to wait until Christmas so he can write to Santa, Sam decides to write to Dracula for Halloween instead. Much to his surprise, Dracula personally responds. - 7:10 PM – 7:55 PM FREE MOVIE & POPCORN: “SPOOKLEY THE SQUARE PUMPKIN”
“Spookley the Square Pumpkin” will be playing at Kohl's court. This is an animated movie. retail: 45 minutes. SYNOPSIS: In a world where the only good pumpkins are round pumpkins, Spookley is teased because of his square shape. Shunned by the other pumpkins, Spookley is befriended by Edgar, Allan and Poe, three hilarious spiders, who convince him that, square or not, he has a right to be the Pick of the Patch. - 8:05 PM – 8:52 PM FREE MOVIE & POPCORN: “SCARY GODMOTHER - HALLOWEEN SPOOKTAKULAR”
“Scary Godmother – Halloween Spooktakular” will play at Kohl's court. This is an animated movie. Run Time: 48 minutes. SYNOPSIS: In this wonderfully unique Halloween special, little Hannah Marie is excited to be going trick-or-treating with the older kids. But when her mean cousin Jimmy tries to ditch her in the dark basement of a spooky house, Hannah is rescued by her Scary Godmother and whisked way to the best Halloween Party ever!

Mall-o-ween/Boo-fest Itinerary:
- 4:30 PM Candy Line forms & Halloween Entry Bracelets provided at mall entrance.
St. Charles Towne Center will offer participating children FREE candy bags including teal bags for an allergy free option. Two lines will form. One line will be for teal bag participants, the other for traditional candy bags. Halloween Entry Bracelets will be provided, these bracelets are a signal to event staff members that participants are attending our event & that they can enjoy all event activities for FREE. The event entrance will be located at the lower level mall entrance between Sears & Macy’s. - 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM Mall Wide Trick or Treating.
Once families have picked up their entry bracelets and candy bags at the mall entrance, more fun begins! Families can participate in mall- wide trick or treating at their leisure. Participating retailers will have a sign on their store front or kiosk that lets you know candy is available. Please note that the candy available at retailer locations is NOT allergy free. View the attached document for a list of mall retailers who are participating. - 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Make & Take Crafts.
Visit center court throughout the night to create various make & take crafts. Get ready to paint, color, stitch and create your own fall & Halloween related crafts. Kid sized tables will be available so participants can take their time to create as needed. - 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Games with Prizes.
Visit Sears Court to play various “carnival” games and win prizes.
