My son wanted to do something different for his 14th Birthday, he remembered hearing about Escape Rooms Southern Maryland so we contacted them and set it up! It was the perfect venue for teenagers! We can not give out many details except they loved it and they want to go back! The boys were ecstatic to talk about it afterward. Jokes were made, smack talking happened and together they will have a memory that will last forever!
Escape Rooms Southern Maryland is in a great location on Leonardtown Square. Just be aware that the entrance is in the back, along with a small parking lot. Just go straight there, you will thank me later. Once inside you will take the elevator up to the 2nd floor- it feels like they are prepping you to find them before the Escape Room. (joke my son made, he told me to add it to the article).
Once in, no cell phones are taken like other places, but no Googling or taking pics is allowed. The doors are not really locked, in case of an emergency you are able to get out. They have 2 different themed rooms right now. But I believe they change throughout the year. Below are the current ones.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
Plan on spending about 90 minutes at Escape Rooms Southern Maryland. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early so we can brief you on your escape room adventure and afterward we like to allow time for a quick photo.
IS THIS OK FOR KIDS?
We think this is a great family activity and find that kids are great at noticing things that adults may overlook! We do ask that you book a private experience if you’re planning to bring children under the age of 10. Kids under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
